I'm trying not to post too much out of turn but it could be worth mentioning that all the major rivers near Portland are still near flood stage and they've been killing Boy Scouts and others who think they can kayak on that stuff. I'm unfamiliar with what's been happening in the Bay area but one of my students is down there currently (love that word) and I'm sure she's effing some things up. And my friend Athena works for "Save the Bay" around your parts and you've reminded me that I owe her some mail. I've been trying to figure out some Freakangels science for awhile now and have a few ideas that always sound too bizarre when I consider writing on your fine board. Warren's not a normal human being, is he. Pretty interesting brain in there for sure. *Excellent* doom thread on Whitechapel today. But it's in English and my mother language is french. I know that Mr Ellis will say i'm a fuckin bloody froggies and that nobody can't cure my frenchness, but that doesn't mean i cannot see what are happening with internet and twitter and sms, people become dumb and imagine new words. It reminds me 1984 when they try to get less words to express things. Try to transform people in lamb and you won't have any problem. but with all my work and all the things i saw in the world, i won't believe anymore in human nature. i will explain why another time in the right time. so for the moment. internet = less words = more dumb people = less art and culture words from a sarcastic man but who love Ariana Osborne blog Xav try to say things that gave you maybe 30 minutes to say them, and try to say them in twitter or something that cannot gave you the possibillity to express correctly what you want to say>

That being people throwing shit at a wall and calling it a relationship. In his case, real shit, in yours a real(ish) relationship. It amazes me, the responses. A guy over on SG read his and basically said "Ya, it's gross, but it's ok if people want to do it". I am saying no, it is not ok. It is not even ok that they want to do it. Make a real connection, be fucking human, people, or just fucking shoot yourself. It is not ok to replace depth with convenience in totality and call it freedom and progress. And for fuck's sake stop flinging shit and calling it human, that's reverse evolution. Haven't these people seen Planet of the Apes? I want a flying car so I can triple park it on campus and get to class on time. Also, whatever it ran on would surely be bad for people to breathe, and that fits with my pro-death agenda. I went through a bunch of skill set evaluation tests when I was younger, including the ASVAB. You know what I learned? I learned how to laugh really hard at a recruitment sergeant who's foolish enough to ask ME of all people, "Do you have any interest in working with nuclear weapons?" I figured you would appreciate the full impact of that one... *cackles maniacally* Doesn’t always help. I went through a bunch of skill set evaluation tests when I was younger, including the ASVAB. I've learned a lot over the years, but this is never going to be something I'm strong in. I have my own skills, but like you said, if you're not touching someone you don't exist. I've always wanted to hear someone say "If only I had *this* I could change the world". I could build whatever they needed. I'm good at building things. I’m not very good at reaching out.
